Community

This is a community site and we would invite users to provide information and promote events that are of interest to them.  Users will be asked to validate information provided on the site and as the community grows, users will be asked to participate by researching and moderating site content.

Philosophy

We will make every effort to provide accurate information about featured events on a best endeavours basis. We will not guarantee the information.

Our mission is to provide a site that contains accurate, useful information which will develop based on the quality of our content and our reputation.

Advertising will appear on this site and in the content downloaded from the site. For those users who do not wish to view the advertising content, we will build features into this site which will allow you to opt out.  There will be a charge for this functionality.

What does free mean on this site?

Services on this site will be free for end users and will remain free while the site is maintained by its current owner.  Event organisers or sponsors who wish to commission event information on the site may be charged for this service.

Why do I have to register?

Full services on this site will require registration. A valid email address will be required. Please remember that if we do not validate your email address other parties (spammers) could use our site to send you emails.

Use of email notifications

Some features of this site use email notification to inform users about events. Email will be used to validate users during registration. Additional emails will only be sent to registered users.

Some ISP and other computer systems routinely block emails they believe to be spam. We do not guarantee receipt of email notifications.

Content

We reserve the right to publish the events of our choice. We hope to encourage other users to post event information and to help moderate and validate content.  Any decision to remove content or events will be made by site moderators and will be final. We will not be required to provide a reason for content removal but will attempt to be transparent with our philosophy so that users understand our decisions.  We will make every effort to ensure the prevention of obscene or inappropriate content.
